Spurring Exports In The New Norm MATRADE Core Purpose 81 01 02 03 04 05 MATRADE collaborated with several eCommerce platforms to promote exports by organising webinars and eCommerce campaigns as follows: COLLABORATION WITH INDUSTRY PLAYERS Global Shoppers Malaysia through Blibli.com and Bukalapak platforms Dropee Alibaba Group Objective: The webinar was to provide information and knowledge on how Malaysian exporters can penetrate the market. 55 Malaysian Companies 183 Registered participants on Blibbli.com MATRADE collaborated with Alibaba Group in organising the Malaysia Week Campaign for the third time from 9 - 18 September 2020. The campaign, supported by MITI, MAFI, Tourism Malaysia and FAMA, introduced 200 Malaysian brands and 600 products to consumers in China. It was implemented virtually due to COVID-19 with 1.7 million viewers participate during the opening ceremony. The campaign was also implemented through Alibaba Group platforms such as Tmall, Taobao Live, Juhuasuan, Fliggy and Freshippo. The collaboration with Alibaba Group assisted Malaysian companies to grow their businesses, making them more competitive in penetrating the export market virtually.
