MATRADE Annual Report 2020 134 MATRADE continues to promote MyExport application, an online service that enables Malaysian companies register as members to access exclusive market intelligence through digital means. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, MyExport became more relevant as Malaysian companies were able to access trade information and business opportunities online. In 2020, MyExport posted 3,177 trade enquiries and 899 market alerts. This market and business opportunity information is delivered via 46 overseas offices worldwide. During the pandemic, medical products including medical gloves and face masks topped the list, in addition to food products, electrical and electronic components, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and beverages. Trade enquiries were received from all over the world including USA, Latin America, Europe, India, Africa, and ASEAN countries. MYEXPORT: MATRADE DIGITAL SERVICES MyExport was the second runnerup in the World Trade Promotion Organisations (WTPO) 2020 Awards under the “Best Use of Technology” category by International Trade Center (ITC), Geneva. This recognition encourages MATRADE to continue enhancing and providing more digital services in the future as part of MATRADE's digitalisation initiatives to benefit the Malaysian exporting community.
