Spurring Exports In The New Norm Management and Integrity, Internal Audit and Strategic Planning 135 01 02 03 04 05 MATRADE has added five server units to a total of 15 units to accommodate more than 80 virtual server units to ensure the efficiency of IT operations besides cost savings. This number is expected to increase in 2021 with new application systems and portals under the development and implementation phase. With increasing storage capacity, backup systems have also been improved. To ensure the readiness of IT systems, storage size, version and design of the main database server was also upgraded. MATRADE's digitalisation efforts are in line with MATRADE's aspiration as the nation’s trade promotion agency to establish a comprehensive and integrated trade information system to support the decision-making process in providing a more effective and efficient service. IMPROVING COMPUTING RESOURCES DIGITAL MATRADE MATRADE’s Digital Project Package 3 is a continuation of the previous Digital Project, which focuses on the development of application systems encompassing Trade Information System, Talent Management System, KPI Management System, Knowledge Management Portal and enhancements to MATRADE Portal. These application systems are expected to be operational by March 2022. In developing these systems, the focus is to digitalise key processes and integrate information across divisions to create an efficient and transparent work process as well as to encourage teamwork. Apart from providing an end-to-end online service delivery system to MATRADE's internal and external users, a comprehensive change management programme is implemented concurrently to strengthen the culture of digitalisation among MATRADE staff to ensure full utilisation of the systems.
