Spurring Exports In The New Norm Management and Integrity, Internal Audit and Strategic Planning 125 01 02 03 04 05 MATRADE established an Integrity Unit to ensure employees adopt a superior work culture with strong morale and ethics with high spirit of patriotism. This initiative aims to curb misconduct as well as violations of organisational code of conduct and ethics. The Integrity Unit is responsible in executing six core functions namely governance, strengthening of integrity, tracking and verification, complaints management, monitoring and disciplinary tasks. Integrity strengthening programmes implemented in 2020 were: • Introductory Briefing on Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009 - Corporate Liability • VIP @ Work Course (Values Intervention Programme) • Leadership Values Course (NiKe): LET’S DO IT • Whistleblower Protection Act Briefing Session 2010 [Act 711] • 'Cyber Crime' Briefing Session • Integrity Alert • Pekeliling2u • Completion Process of MATRADE Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan • Understanding Corruption Risk Management (CRM) Workshop • Creative Video Contest themed "Say YES to GRACE" • Implementation of Integrity Pact in Procurement matters at MATRADE. • Mystery Shopping Working Hours Compliance INTEGRITY MATRADE Organisational AntiCorruption Plan (OACP) 2021-2025 was successfully developed as an anti-corruption policy document at the organisational level that aims to address problems and limitations in governance, integrity and anticorruption in the organisation. OACP 2021-2025 covers five priority areas namely administration, governance, human resources, procurement and finance as well as legal. A Corruption Risk Management (CRM) Development Workshop was also held to help MATRADE develop CRM through the following initiatives: • Identifying strategic goals; • Identifying risks/potential risks of corruption in MATRADE's key activities/work processes; • Identifying the sources of risk/ potential risk of corruption through remedial methods; • Identifying existing controls and additional controls required; • Identifying the effectiveness of existing controls; and • Providing CRM documentation containing risk profiles, risk registers and appropriate action plans.
