MATRADE Annual Report 2020 124 SAFETY AND WELLBEING MATRADE places great importance on the safety and wellbeing of MATRADE staff which requires monitoring of Menara MATRADE’s operations and maintenance. Among works carried out include repairs and improvements to mechanical, electrical and civil matters to ensure smooth delivery of MATRADE's services to customers. In 2020, several projects were implemented, notably: • Upgrading of audio-visual systems including CCTV • Conversion of cables and electrical & mechanical spare parts • Repairing air filters and air conditioning systems • Pipeline system repairs • Upgrading of MATRADE building and facilities • Replacement of fire prevention systems To ensure the safety of Menara MATRADE’s occupants, tenants and visitors from the COVID-19 pandemic, sanitation and cleaning works were carried out.
