MATRADE Annual Report 2020 74 INFORMATION BOOTHS Through its overseas offices, MATRADE also participates in international trade fairs in the form of information booths to promote products and services of Malaysian companies. During this participation, MATRADE highlights the capabilities of Malaysian companies internationally as well as records trade enquiries which will then be channelled to the relevant Malaysian companies. In addition, MATRADE arranges business matching sessions if there is a demand for Malaysian goods and services. MATRADE participated in the 40th GITEX Technology Week 2020 from 6 - 10 December 2020 in Dubai, UAE through an information booth to promote the capabilities of Malaysian ICT companies. GITEX is the largest exhibition and conference in the Middle East for consumer electronics products and information & communication technology.
